Neutering is a veterinary procedure and hence any discussion regarding neutering should involve your veterinary surgeon. However, unless the behaviour problem is specifically related to sexual activity, then it is unlikely that neutering will completely resolve the behaviour and, in some cases, it can worsen the situation. Consequently, it is usually better to resolve the behavioural problem prior to making a decision to undertake a surgical procedure that will be irreversible.
