You will need to check that your insurance policy covers 'behaviour' cases. However, if it does, it should cover clinical animal behaviourists who are registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC). If you are unsure, contact your insurer and make sure that they understand that your vet has referred you to an ABTC registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
